Succeeding the XD1080 with a larger battery and redesigned controls, the Prime X Action Camera from Replay XD is a "lipstick tube" style action camera that features 1080p60 video recording plus 120 fps slow motion in 720p. Its cylinder shape is designed so that it can be mounted just about anywhere, with a range of options - included and available separately - based on the proprietary SnapTray mounting system. The body is waterproof to 10' so that it can be safely used outdoors in the wet, or even submerged underwater.
On top of video, the Prime X can snap 16-megapixel photos in single shot and can take 4K resolution time-lapse still at intervals between 3 and 30 seconds apart. The camera's 1/2.3" CMOS sensor is backed by a T2.8 aperture Hyperion CinePrime X lens to help the camera gather as much light as it can in darker settings. The lens features an anti-glare coating, and has a 140-degree super-wide field of view (at the widest setting), which helps ensure the camera records whatever is happening in front of the lens while producing less distortion than a fisheye.
Replay XD is known for producing some of the smallest and lightest Full HD cameras by mounted volume, without sacrificing professional-grade features. Prime X is no exception, weighing only 3.5 ounces total and measuring in at just 30mm x 98mm, all of which includes the new CinePrime X lens, 16MP CMOS sensor, 1700 mAh battery, Wi-Fi, and a powerful image processor, that puts the Prime X at the top of its class.
